MEET SUPERVISOR/RESEARCH
Date: 29/4/2019 (Monday) –
3/5/2019 (Friday)
In this week I
have been through a meeting with my supervisor regarding my research and to
discuss with him whether my findings if correct or not, but luckily my
findings were suitable and reliable, then we proceed for my findings by
adding on some instruction by my supervisor. Research about the pH sensor and Wi-fi module (ESP 8266) to
understand how its function.
1.
pH Sensor
What
is pH?
“pH stands for the power of hydrogen, which is a measurement
of the hydrogen ion concentration in the body. The total pH scale ranges from 1
to 14, with 7 considered to be neutral. A pH less than 7 is said to be acidic
and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline.”

The most important sensor is pH sensor because it will check the quality
of water and from that it avoids the fish to death. To avoid the fish to
death the pH level need to control the

This table 1 above is the example pH level need to control by each type
of fish. So that by controlling the pH level it will make sure the fish in good
quality and healthy.

Wi-fi Module (ESP 8266)
Figure 2 Wi-fi Module ESP 8266
ESP 8266 ESP 01 is a Wi-Fi
module that helps us to access Wi-Fi Network with any controllers. This module
is a self-contained SOC with integrated TCP/IP protocol. This doesn’t need
any controller to manipulate input and outputs whereas Raspberry Pi,
Arduino, etc., requires. Based on the versions, the input and output pin
varies. We can control anything around us using Wi-Fi with the help of this ESP
module instead of wired controlling.
